Our Many Creatures...

I don't have pictures of all our creatures.. Has anyone out there wondered what do little boys play with???
My boys love bugs, of any shape or size..
We of course have a our 10 gallon fish tank filled with 100's tadpoles. Who are doing awesome, and many are getting very big....

We have had several catapillers running around. Alex has always loved them. As a toddler he would end up squishing them and getting upset. He has learned to let them crawl over him and he takes them everywhere. They eat, play, and sleep together.. I'm not kidding here. They get placed in a small container and sleep in his bed. Last night he had an inch worm who slept in a little container with cubbie bear. : )

Occasionally we will catch and find something that shouldn't be touched. As Terry located this spiky creature yesterday outside. It is currently in the bug house.

Last week the boys caught a lizard, It spent 3 days in the jar before it "accidently" escaped. Terry caught the poor thing flys everynight and feed it. This is rather insteresting, and if you ever have the chance you should watch one eat and catch flies.
We did have a buterfly but it got lost. The boys are thinking of making a bug collection.. Perhaps this would be a good thing.. Finding creapy crawling creatures and finding out what they are. Which is a favorite pass time.. Daddy is great finding them online.
